2. Services
Apex Academy provides specialist 11+ preparation programmes including small-group tuition, assessments, study materials and progress reporting for Year 3–5 students preparing for grammar school entrance examinations.
We do not guarantee admission to any specific grammar school. Our services are designed to support academic preparation, confidence and exam readiness.
3. Enrollment & Assessments
- Enrollment is subject to availability and completion of our admissions process
- Parents/guardians must provide accurate information about the student at the time of enrollment
- Baseline assessments may be required to determine appropriate group placement
- We reserve the right to decline enrollment where we believe our programme is not suitable for a student's needs
4. Fees & Payment
- Course fees will be confirmed in writing at the time of enrollment
- Fees are payable in accordance with the payment schedule agreed upon enrollment
- Failure to pay fees may result in suspension of tuition
- All fees are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) unless otherwise stated
5. Cancellation & Refunds
- By the parent/guardian: Please provide at least 14 days' written notice of cancellation to info@apex-academy.uk
- Refunds, where applicable, will be calculated based on unused tuition sessions minus any administrative costs stated at enrollment
- No refunds are provided for missed sessions unless agreed in exceptional circumstances
- By Apex Academy: We may cancel a programme with reasonable notice and will offer a refund for any prepaid unused sessions
6. Attendance & Punctuality
- Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions on time
- Parents/guardians must notify us in advance of any absence
- Repeated unexplained absences may result in review of the student's place
- We are not obliged to provide catch-up sessions for missed classes unless agreed separately
7. Student Conduct
We maintain a respectful, focused learning environment. Students must:
- Follow instructions from tutors and staff
- Treat tutors and peers with respect
- Not disrupt lessons or use inappropriate language or behaviour
- Not use mobile devices during sessions unless permitted for learning purposes
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate tuition where behaviour is persistently disruptive or poses a safeguarding concern, in accordance with our DBS & Safeguarding Policy.
8. Materials & Intellectual Property
- All Apex Academy proprietary 11+ materials, worksheets and resources remain our intellectual property
- Materials are provided for personal use by enrolled students only and must not be copied, shared or distributed
- Website content, branding and logos may not be reproduced without written permission
9. Safeguarding
The welfare of children is our highest priority. All tutors undergo enhanced DBS checks and follow our safeguarding procedures. Full details are set out in our DBS & Safeguarding Policy.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from our services
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid for the relevant programme
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law

- You must not misuse our website or attempt unauthorised access to our systems
- Information on our website is provided for general guidance and may be updated without notice
- External links are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for third-party content
12. Privacy
